An unidentified edition: Cassell Company issued a weekly "Musical Home Journal" containing c.20-25 pages in each issue. Such large book-form bound folio is not listed. The title page contains Cassell Company imprint, "MCMV" [1905]; and "All Rights reserved." There is a large list of contributing composers on the title page. However, the volume contains contributions by various additional authors not listed on the title page.
Provenance:
The label inside front cover states "Portishead Men's Adult School Book Club. First Distribution, Jan. 7th, 1906.", hand-signed "Mr E.J. Gilbert."
