Mystery French Impressionist Street Scene Oil, depicts a likely Paris city street on a windy day with a young woman carrying baskets of possibly laundry or bread, 20C, signed lower right illegibly possibly J Solpe, Sotge, Sopqe, Sofpe, etc. illegible indistinct monogram signature, oil on panel, 8.75 x 10.625 inches, 13.5 x 15.5 x 2.25 inches framed. Provenance: Krassner Seymour Cooke Collection formerly of Kennebunkport, Maine, removed from their waterfront Southeast Florida estate in late 2021. CXRL4
Condition Report: Probable older cleaning, panel not examined out of frame, nice impasto. Heavy gesso cracking throughout frame.
