Extremely scarce early mystery magazine. Includes short novels by Dashiell Hammett, Barnaby Ross, Dorothy L. Sayers, John Marvell, J.C. Cannell, and Ellery Queen. Ellery Queen was a pseudonym used by mystery writers Frederic Dannay and Manfred B. Lee, who started the magazine to publish high quality mystery writing. Due to high cost and the Great Depression, Mystery League magazine ran for just 4 issues, but was later produced as "Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine," which is still in published today. No copies located on WorldCat.
Condition Report: Light wear to boards; some internal foxing and staining, pages toned; overall very good.
