(N) HIGH CONDITION EARLY GROUP INDUSTRIES MODEL 1918A2 BROWNING AUTOMATIC RIFLE B.A.R. MACHINE GUN

Wonderful high condition specimen of the 1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifle (B.A.R.). U.S. flaming bomb proof with date “2-54” near sight on barrel with “P” proof near the chamber. Features include smooth World War II style forend, carrying handle, bipod, muzzle, and 1st pattern gas regulator, as well as WWII style hard composite buttstock with “flip-up” buttplate. Four 20 round magazines are included. Top of receiver has standard Group Industries markings and serial number. The BAR was an important component of portable firepower within the American infantry squad during World War II. It was highly effective when engaging the enemy. NFA Electronic registry indicates, "BROWN, MICHAEL DBA GROUP INDUSTRIE" in the manufacturer's block. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent smooth gray refinish upon remanufacture with extremely attractive wood, and composite furnishings. Bore is near excellent, shiny & bright. Bolt face is extremely fine. This is a full-auto-only machine gun. The Browning automatic rifle is one of the most popular machine guns out on the range, and this one will no doubt bring a lot of enjoyment to the new owner.
