Just fabulous highly lustrous blue finish and brass Tippman produced miniature of the Browning 1917A1 machine gun. Accessories include tripod with T&E mechanism, 2 metal ammo boxes, 1 cloth belt still sealed in plastic wrapper, original wooden crate, and operators manual. Only a few fully automatic and fully transferable guns like this were produced and the 1917 model, with brass trunnion and endcap is particularly attractive to the observer. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance is absolutely outstanding, near excellent original finish. Gun remains unfired. Beautiful polished brass endcap and trunnion with functional water filler and drain plugs. Bright blue finish on water jacket and receiver plates. Top cover and feed shuttle are plum color as is reinforcement bottom strap and metal part of hand grip. Beautiful wooden hand grip. Internal parts and charging handle retain their factory high polish. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Tripod pintle is brass plated steel. Wooden crate is near excellent as are leather carrying straps. It is hard to imagine a more attractive miniature model of this classic American firearm which saw service in both World Wars. A fantastic office or home display piece in investment level condition for the forward thinking military and/or full-auto enthusiast.
