Warp probably of silk, weft of cotton. Wool velvet and silk flowers. The carpet is adorned with a central polychrome rosette, extended by two pendants. Set against a navy blue ground decorated with foliage and flowering branches in which birds are perched. All set against an ivory-coloured background.
