NAPOLEON III PART EBONIZED COIFFEUSE

France, circa 1870, the curvilinear shaped & hinged top showing a foliate marquetry cartouche surrounded by diaper-work parquetry motifs & gilt bronze mounts, the bird's eye maple lined interior fitted with twin lidded compartments and a dressing mirror, the conforming frieze fitted with a single drawer and raised overall on four toupie supports braced by an X shaped stretcher, minor distress to inlay & moldings, interior elements missing.
