A unique relic of the 20th Century Space Race: A four volume collection of original tracking station sequence envelope covers, containing handwritten notes and date stamps captured during the American Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Skylab missions (1958-1974). Produced by the international Manned Space Flight Network of tracking stations that support the U.S. space programs. Each page contains postmarked covers that bear log information for the individual missions as they were tracked at the international monitoring stations. Includes covers for historic NASA missions, including by John Glenn and Alan B. Shepard, and the July 20, 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing by Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Total of 333 individual covers with additional mission related ephemera. Presented in original period binders. Measurements listed for largest binder.
