Natalie Chase, a native New Yorker, was a professional portrait painter and illustrator of children's books. Ms. Chase was a graduate of Cooper Union. In addition, she studied with The Art Students League of New York, The National Academy of Design, and The Beaux-Arts Institute of Design. She exhibited at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, The Whitney Museum, The Providence Art Festival, Ms. Chase was the founder of The Studio Barn Art School in Bronx, New York.
