The National Society Daughters of the Union 1861-1865 was founded in New York City in 1912. Eligibility is based upon male or female, civilian or military service to the Union during the Civil War. The society still exists, but much smaller than its height. They award scholarships at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. This membership badge has two ancestor bars : Theodore T.
