46" bow with twisted sinew string is held by ocher painted buckskin bow bag attached to buckskin quiver. Both quiver & bow bag have rawhide sewn red trade cloth edging and red, white, and blue beaded band decoration. Quiver contains two 27" arrows that appear to all be made by the same hand, retaining remnants of their feather flights. CONDITION: good overall. Buckskin is soiled, few holes and loose stitching at bottom of bow bag, shoulder strap is sound. Bow has some sinew wrap loosening, weathered patina, arrows are matching, partial feathers & good sinew wrapped attached iron tips. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Lenard Cave. (02-27337/JS).
