Probably Chinese, circa 2000. Room size Aubusson style needlepoint rug featuring a foliage & pineapple center medallion, the border depicting a procession with a sedan chair riding female monkey with attendants, the ends portray a formaldinner with dogs and monkeys in livery. Accompanied by a framed & matted watercolor cartoon of one of the attendant monkeys holding a flower bouquet. Watercolor inscribed and signed Dori Cartright, '00.Approx. 9'8" x 13'10"
