NEVERS, 18th century. Revolutionary ASSEMBLY with contoured edge in stanniferous earthenware. Polychrome decoration of big fire in the center of a love lighting the wick of a gun pointed to the left. Above the inscription "I keep the nation" surmounted by a star. On the reverse side the handwritten inscription "Ripault". Diam. 22 cm (crack). A similar model preserved in the collections of the Musée Carnavalet, Paris. JOINT: NEVERS. ASSEMBLY with a polychrome decorated earthenware fretworked rim in the centre of an angel blowing a trumpet and carrying a fleur-de-lys in an oval medallion. On the reverse side handwritten inscription "Ripault". Nineteenth. Diam. 22.5 cm.
