[Artist Munson] Paddock, then 51, was one of the latter. Since 1907 he had been rendering in a style influenced by Charles Dana Gibson, and his approach to formal elements such as balloons and captions was more reminiscent of Richard F. Outcault than Chester Gould."****************************************
