TOP POCKET REVOLVER. Cal. 22 Short. S# 76939. Bbl. 2 3/8" ejectorless. Matching numbers on bbl. assembly & butt. Non matching 2 piece bird's head mother of pearl grips; left panel monogrammed "M". Seven shot cyl. 2nd type non stylized rotating barrel key. Full nickel plated finish on bbl., frame & cyl. Left side of frame marked "22 CAL". 1 Piece low hammer & spur trigger. CONDITION: metal parts retain 80% nickel with high edge wear and scattered areas of flaking, mostly at lower front of bbl. assembly. frame as been renickeled with polish marks visible beneath nickel. Grips are very good overall. Very good bore is lightly frosted with well defined rifling. Fair bore with frosted appearance having intact rifling. Mechanically fine. (01-29843/BH). ANTIQUE. $600-900.
