A nice baroque pearl necklace, made with lustrous South Sea and Tahitian pearls, and completed with a matching elegant clasp in solid silver. The necklace contains 27 South Sea and Tahitian pearls measuring 11. 2x15mm in diameter, creating a graduation to the front of the necklace. Produced by the Pinctada Maxima Oyster in the warm waters off the coasts of Australia, the South Sea pearls have been hand selected for their natural golden and vibrant white colours and for their eye catching lustre. They are combined with peacock and silvery Tahitian pearls , produced in the tropical lagoons of French Polynesia. The overtones of these pearls are carefully matched in the natural South Sea and Tahitian colouring to create a necklace that is truly unique. Baroque shaped pearls have a noticeably irregular appearance, which means that they may have some minor imperfections and characterful circles present on the surface of the pearl. The necklace is 47cm long and is strung by hand with knots between each pearl for safety and is completed with an elegant baroque clasp in solid silver.
