The white South sea pearl is a variety of saltwater pearl, cultured in the silver-lipped Pinctada maxima oyster, mostly in ocean waters from Australia to Indonesia. Emerging from the tranquil waters of Australia, these South Sea Pearls are baroque shaped and have a rich luxurious luster. The pearls have a blush of colour over the white body colour of the pearl. This overtone will warm up against any skin complexion and sparkle nicely. The sparkling overtones of these pearls are highly prized and have been carefully matched throughout the necklace. The necklace has a standard length of 45cm and is made with 29 cultured South Sea pearls that measure between 11and 14. 2mm in diameter, creating a graduation to the front of the necklace. Baroque shaped pearls have a noticeably irregular appearance, which means that they may have some minor imperfections and characterful circles present on the surface of the pearl. Individualy knotted between each pearl for safety, the necklace is completed with an elegant ball clasp in solid silver.
