Beautiful fine jewellery for the evening, this breathtaking necklace is made with golden and white South Sea pearls, cultured in the saltwater silver and gold-lipped Pinctada maxima oysters in the ocean waters of the Australia to Indonesia. They are combined with silvery green Tahitian pearls, produced by the Pinctada Margaritifera oyster. The colour of each pearl is natural and and has been carefully matched throughout the necklace to create a variation of tone that is elegant and subtle. The 37 round pearls have been selected from the highest quality harvests and have an excellent soft, silky lustre, with some minor irregularities being visible on their surface. The pearls measure between 10. 2 and 14mm in diameter and have been carefully matched throughout the necklace, creating a statement with this luxurious size. The 46cm necklace should sit nicely under the collarbone. The necklace is strung by hand with knots between each pearl for safety and is completed with a secure invisible clasp. One end pearl receives a fine quality screw and the other end pearl a bolt mechanism. The clasp easily functions by gently twisting it counter clockwise to unlock, and clockwise to lock.
