Beautiful fine jewellery for the evening, this breathtaking necklace is made with golden and champagne South Sea pearls, cultured in the gold-lipped Pinctada maxima oyster in the ocean waters of Australia. The colour of each pearl is natural and and has been carefully matched throughout the necklace to create a variation of tone that is elegant and subtle. The 39 round pearls have been selected from the highest quality harvests and have an excellent shimmering bright lustre, with some minor irregularities being visible on their surface. The pearls measure between 9. 5 and 12mm in diameter and have been carefully matched throughout the necklace, creating a slight graduation to the front of the necklace. The 44cm necklace should sit just below the collarbone and is individually hand-knotted between each pearl for safety and comfort. The necklace is completed with a secure 18K gold built in clasp. One end pearl receives a fine quality 18k gold screw and the other end pearl a gold bolt mechanism. The clasp easily functions by gently twisting it counter clockwise to unlock, and clockwise to lock. Upon closure, the screws are fully hidden, offering a clean and elegant look.
