Very rare and includes original box sent for counter display, which is marked "Popeye and His Pals are the Most Popular Comics in the World". The box also says "One Dozen Musical Popeye Pipes" on display card. Still has its easel back, shows Popeye on front and depicts him laying against tree while children are blowing musical pipe. Gorgeous graphics, also shows other characters on the card including Olive Oyl and Wimpy. Marked "1934 King Features Syndicate Inc.". Has one dozen complete pipes with rubber mouthpiece. CONDITION; Very minor tearing and creasing at bottom of card, but overall excellent to near mint condition. From the Jeff Landes Collection. Dimensions: Box: 17" x 12" x 1 - 1/2".
