Condition Report:
Overall the condiition of the wood is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is minor stable splitting to the wood, consistent with the material, including to the back of the lion on top of the handle. There is some white-ish residue in areas, in particular to the crevices of the lid. There are two wood plugs to the handle. The top rim of the tankard appears to be slightly warped.
