A Teheran carpet, Persia. A highly decorative all over design of linked palmettes, rosettes and stylized flower vines. C. 560.000 kn. pr. sqm. C. 1940. 405×316 cm.
Condition Report:
The carpet appears complete with original ends(no front weavings) and edges. The carpet has over all medium pile, partly minor wear along edges(see images). See second last images showing a minor area with 4–5 small points of missing pile. Both ends are secured. The carpet appears clean and withour visible stains. Soft handle. The carpet has magnificent colors.
