On a label on the reverse it is mentioned that the paintings are presumed to have been in the collection of the Schlichtenburg counts at Ottleben Castle, Harzen and Collection Branicki. They were presumably bought in Bredgade c. 1923 by doctor Knud Schroeder, Odense.
Condition Report:
The canvases are relined. Retouches, peelings and crackles. A few pressure marks. The canvas needs tightening.
