[ translate ]

A RARE AND UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A LONG run of copies of NOTES AND QUERIES from 1849 through to 1993. The early volumes from 1849 to 1940 hardbound and depending on series in Blue, green brown, fawn with many of the earlier volumes tanned brown to spine. A few red quarter bounf with leather to spine. Many hut not all ex library. Generally good condition but some chips noted at spine ends and one with spine missing. 1940 through to 1993 unbound and parcelled by year.A few chapters missing but as parcel led up cannot check accurately. As far as I can see 1904 volume VI and 1916 vol 1 missing. Also 4 bound volumes of index: 1916-1923, 1923-1929, 1929-1935 and 1935-1947. Various publishers over the years including George bell, Bell & Daldry and the Bucks free press and others. Because of the large volume has been very difficult to be 100% accurate. There are over 220 volumes. The title has changed slightly over the years. It would not be possible to post and buyer would have to collect or arrange collection. This is a very scarce run of this literary work.I have listed a few photographs of this work.
