A mixed group of antique sterling silver wine labels, including a “brandy” label London 1805, maker’s mark JS for J Snatt or J Shea
Of plain oblong form with reeded rim, a Scottish “brandy” label, Edinburgh circa 1800, by John McDonald, a “Whisky” label, London circa 1816, by Samuel Knight, two labels engraved “Irish” and another engraved “Rum”. also to inlcude; a George III Old Sheffield plate pair, circa 1770, of escutcheon form, with fruiting vine, one engraved “Burgundy”, the other “Claret” and a pair of black enamel wine labels inscribed “Sherry” and Whisky” in gilt letters.
