Service dagger for a member of the Nationalist Socialist Flyers Corps. The dagger has a 7 in. blade and is 12 in. overall, with a blue leather grip and silver-plated nickel winged crossguard with a mobile swastika at the center. Maker marked at the ricasso by SMF Solingen, with remnants of cosmoline on the blade. Housed within a scabbard covered in matching Moroccan blue leather and silver-plated nickel fittings, with leather hanger. The throat is stamped with a slightly faded ‘winged man' NSFK organizational emblem. The scabbard displays great loss of the leather and bears a dent to the tip. Estimated accordingly due to condition.
