NYSE Sterling Silver Medallion Tiffany and Co. 9/11
This Tiffany & Company commissioned medallion/coin was given to New York Stock Exchange employees after the September 11, 2001 attack. It was never offered as a retail item. It measures around 3 inches in diameter and is around 3/16" thick. It weighs approx. 154.7 grams. The front is inscribed 'LET FREEDOM RING' with the raised New York Stock Exchange columns displayed with the stars & stripes of the American flag, (colorful red, white & blue like colors). The reverse is inscribed 'WE WILL NEVER FORGET SEPTEMBER 11, 2001' Coin comes with original Tiffany & Co. lite blue velvet like pouch, original Tiffany box. A great monument to the perseverance of the American Spirit.
