A beautiful, gracefully designed Nain knotted of cork wool with a large amount of silk inside the accentuating elements on a cotton base fabric. The deep dark blue field makes up the background for a densely drawn paradise scheme with ascending tendency, whereby the pattern repeats itself. The animal motifs are depicted with expressive precision. The enchanting, opulent background depicting leaves reinforces this early impression of a unique, infinite image. Origin: Persia.
