She received her formal art education from Bennett College in North Carolina and the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work was exhibited regularly in her lifetime in numerous galleries, art shows, and more. Her corporate commissions include General Electric, Exxon Mobil, and the set design department for the AMC television program “Mad Men”.
