Rabbi Naphtali Hertz Treves of Fankfurt (1465-1537) authored a Kabbalah siddur and the glosses on the Rabbeinu Bachaye commentary. He was a student of Rabbi Yaakov son of Moshe Margulies (Nurenmberg). Rabbi Naphtali was a Halachic authority and Rosh Yeshiva at the end of the era of the Acharonim. He served as the cantor of his town.
Rabbi Naphtali was the patriarch of the Treves, Dreifus, Trepps Families and others.
