Napoleon III Mahogany Gentleman's Wardrobe
ca. 1900, of breakfront form, the ormolu-mounted cornice above two central paneled doors opening to a mirrored interior, further opening to a hanging space, flanked to either side by a single door, each inset with a paned and glazed panel with ormolu mullions, the whole raised on fluted and acanthine-modeled giltwood feet, the back branded "Ve Jose Ribas, Muebles-Decoracion, Barcelona".

Condition Report: **In overall good condition. The finish exhibits minor mars, abrasions and wear but no losses and is in quite good condition. The bronze mounts exhibit some oxidation.
The assembled case is sturdy and solid.
The glazed panels at the top of one of the side doors are loose, but not in danger of falling out. There is a splinter loss to the base of the pilaster flanking that same drawer, about 3" high and 3/8" deep.
Locks are present, as are keys, including functional keys for the side doors.
The mirror plates are generally crisp and clear with some areas of very faint hazing. There is a reglued splinter/break at one hinge for a mirror.
