Centerpiece in the shape of a salver with high foot, made of bronze with embossed spikes on the shaft (which take the form of synthesized dolphins), cut handles and a rich enameled decoration with the cloisonné technique. Also called alveolated or partitioned, cloisonné enamel is a technique that consists of depositing the vitreous paste of the enamel in compartments formed by metal sheets that, in relief, compose the silhouette of the design. The ornamental richness is based both on the intricate, baroque-inspired designs and the wide color palette, which includes red, white, black, pink, yellow and various shades of blue, mauve and green.
