Napoléon Ier [secrétaire] - Document signé Premier consul - 1803

Very rare document of a captain's certificate bearing a beautiful signature of Napoleon Bonaparte as first consul [secretary] dating from May 19, 1803 (30 florial year eleven) and made in Saint Cloud.

Important Signatures: Not limited to Napoleon, this document also includes the signatures of Secretary of State Hugues-Bernard Maret (1763-1839) and Minister of the Interior Jean-Antoine Chaptal (1756-1832) , offering a rich additional to its authenticity.

Maret was appointed Secretary of State in 1799, his task increased in 1802 to that of chief of staff of the First Consul, the latter having quickly appreciated the intelligence, discretion and above all the phenomenal working power of this collaborator.
Chaptal initiated a complete reorganization of public education and was minister from November 7, 1800 to August 7, 1804.

A beautifully crafted dry stamp, inscribed "In the name of the French people Bonaparte. 1st Consul", adds a touch of elegance and authority to this historic treasure.

Captain Perrier fought several battles like Fleurus
