Very beautiful and neat set of 5 Paris porcelain cups circa 1820, Restoration period (Louis XVIII) , by the Nast factory.
Polychrome decoration with a laurel frieze surrounded by golden threads and various decorations treated with gold:
lambrequins, plant friezes, etc.

Nast, this name evokes a porcelain factory established in Paris at the beginning of the 19th century and more particularly
during the Empire period. Nast porcelain is characterized by the exceptional quality of its paste which combines whiteness and hardness.
The passing of the torch to his sons appears particularly successful and during the Exhibition of Products of French Industry in 1819, King Louis XVIII praised the qualities of the Nast brothers: “I see with pleasure the talent passed from father to son; I urge you to cultivate it”
