Note: This work is number 2 from an edition of 8 plus 2 artist's proofs. Nathan Coley is a significant contemporary British artist. Much of Coley’s work consists of installation pieces, and is often highly conceptual, making the present piece very much in keeping with the artist’s oeuvre. His work has been exhibited in locations as diverse as the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in Melbourne, the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, the Tate Liverpool, and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh. He has had solo exhibitions at the Westfalischer Kunstverein in Munster, the Centro Cultural de Belem in Lisbon, and the Contemporary Art Gallery in Vancouver, amongst many others
