Decades old green Scott's complete National Postage Stamp Album containing pages for every major USA, Confederate postage and revenue stamps variety through December 1967. Collection includes over 1000+ stamps from an experienced / veteran stamp collector. This is one of the best stamp album consignments Lot 14 Auctions staff has processed. The collection album pages are organized in a reverse chronological order and contain both uncancelled and cancelled individual and block stamps, Staff have not seen an improperly secured stamp to album pages in this collection. Consignor used the appropriate hinges and holders to preserve the stamp's value. The first page begins with three 1989 four stamp uncancelled blocks in the proper holders: ---World Stamp Expo replicating the 1869 Lincoln U.S. stamp; ---20th Century Universal Postage Conference's methods of delivering the mail and 20th futuristic universal postal delivery vehicles. Breaking the overview over three time periods: 1840s to 1899.A better over view: ---1820 to 1899: Over 100+ stamps, about 20% uncancelled, all properly stored in album; ---1900 to 1933: Over 350+ stamps, over 40% uncanceled, all properly stored, and ---1934 to 1989: Remaining stamps in this time period, very complete and beautifully preserved.
