Description: A pair of hand-made, antique woven baskets made by members of the Apache tribe circa late 19th or early 20th century. One basket features a repeating pattern of people on horseback, while the other’s pattern is that of people holding hands encircling the piece. The horseback patterned basket is slightly taller, but narrower than the figurative basket. Please see below for exact measurements.

Measurements:Horseback basket: 4.5 inches tall x 6.75 inches in diameter. Figurative basket: 3.75 inches tall x 7 inches in diameter.

Condition:Both are in very good condition with no fraying, abrasions, or repairs. They both have also maintained their flexibility and pliability incredibly well with age and are not brittle or decaying. The figurative basket was evidently hung on a wall at some point, and it has a small hole in which the mount was strung through, though this is small and does not effect the piece’s structural or aesthetic integrity.
