Native American Fur Trade Tomahawk
This Native American fur trade ax dates to the early 19th C and most likely of European origin. It is lightweight, well-designed and fabricated with thin blade, perfectly sized for splitting the breast bone of deer. The handle is a later addition, but head is original.
