American Indian Paint-Decorated War Club, Possibly Cree or Apache, Late Nineteenth-Early Twentieth Century. Made with one piece of leather, the leather-wrapped wood handle decorated in red and blue with triangles and bands, cut into strands and continuing to wrap and hold a stone ball.
