Native American, central United States, present-day Iowa, ca. 1st millennium BCE to late 1st millennium CE. A fine set of 12 hand-knapped stone arrowheads with sharpened edges and pointed tips. One point has a rounded butt end, three points have projecting tails without fins, and eight have attenuated tails with a protruding fin on either side. Size of largest (Mills Co., Iowa): 2.8" L x 1.5" W (7.1 cm x 3.8 cm)
Provenance: private southwestern Pennsylvania, USA collection, acquired prior to 2000
