Native Silver Imiter mine, Imiter mining district, Tinghir Cercle, Tinghir Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco 11.5 × 6.3 × 2.2 cm (4.53 × 2.48 × 0.87 in) Native Silver from Imiter, Morocco, is highly regarded for its unusual sculptural forms, and this specimen is an attractive example. The Silver forms a broad, metallic leaf with an irregular outline, its surface shaped by gentle concave and convex undulations that give the piece a natural three-dimensional appearance weighing at 135.20 grams. Fine crystalline texturing and a bright metallic luster shimmer across the surface under direct lighting. The specimen is complete all around and displays well from either side.
