Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The date function is working properly. The dial with light signs of patina and oxidization, which collectors adore for its natural sign of aging. The bezel with light surface wear throughout that is consistent with its age. The band with minor surface wear particularly at 9 o'clock. The case back with surface wear particularly to the center. The bracelet with surface wear throughout, however it is in very good overall condition as the links remain very tightly connected. The watch although with signs of wear, it is actually in very good overall condition as the case does not seem to have been polished while we can see the original finishing remaining on the case and case back.

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.
