Near Mint Original BG-144 Grateful Dead Poster

This interesting Lee Conklin poster requires examination to see the fine parts of the design. What appears to be a head with a winged helmet in the lower left is actually composed of body parts, vegetables, and animals—including a dog and a pig. It is about as psychedelic as it gets and it is very popular, both for the art and the fact that it is a Grateful Dead poster. This image was printed twice. This piece is from the rare first print run, as evidenced by the dull paper stock used.
