Near Pair of Silver-Mounted Tortoiseshell Tea Caddies, late 18th Century, the filigree sterling silver mounts with Sheffield date marks 1795 and 1820. The earlier with maker's mark EH; each serpentine fronted with hinged sloped top opening to disclose a lidded compartment; elaborate leafy vine scroll-work encadrements of sterling silver, hinged bail handle and escutcheon.
