Necklace (3) - Agate, Glass, Low-grade silver - Niger - Late 20th century

Three Traditional NECKLACES made from silver alloy, agate and glass, from the Tuareg from Western Sahara (Niger, Mali) , very finely wrought and engraved with silver tubular ornaments and polygonal silver beads and black (onyx?) . And red glass and colored glass late 20th century. Low silver grade. Similar necklaces are depicted in Tuareg, J. B. Cuypers, Photo Book and Exhibition Catalogue, Tervuren, 1994. Bought in situ on field trips to the Sahara in 2020 and 2021. Dimensions (approx.) ; Black necklace: length necklace 44 cm, pendant with onyx: 10 x 6 cm. Blue necklace: length necklace 48 cm, pendant with blue colored howlite: 9 x 4 cm. Red necklace: length necklace 46 cm, pendant with carnelian: 5. 5 x 3 c. Will be shipped with track and trace.
