Necklace - Bronze, Murano chevron glass paste - Italy / Mali - late 19th and 20th century
Superb ethnic necklace from Mali, combining a large old 6-layer "chevron" bead from Murano (Venice, late 19th century) in glass paste (slightly chipped) , Krobo beads from Ghana in recycled glass, old ribbed glass beads , artisanal brass beads, and bauxite beads.
Recently reassembled on black cotton cord.
Total length approximately 60 cm.
Dimensions of the central herringbone bead: 29 x 23 mm.
Total weight: 172 grams.
