Necklace with old, square beads from Murano - Ghana (No Reserve Price)
This necklace is made up of 23 square glass beads with a terra-cotta color in the base.
The beads have a pattern of (yellow) eyes and a thin line of white glass around the eye. The beads were made in Murano around 1900.
The relatively larger beads measure 20 x 10 mm.
The brown intermediate beads also come from Murano.
The chain has a length of 47 cm and the weight is 71 grams.
The necklace will be sent by registered mail via Post. nl, which can be followed via Track & Trace.
The suppliers: we are collectors of beads and necklaces and regularly visit a few countries in West Africa once a year to look for beads for our own collection. We mainly visit Ghana, but sometimes also the neighboring countries Togo, Benin and Ivory Coast. Our beads also partly come from Mali and Burkina Faso.
