Needlework Sampler "Esther Webster,"

Needlework Sampler "Esther Webster," Bow, New Hampshire, 1824, worked in silk threads on a linen ground, seven alphanumeric rows above the maker's name, town, and date, all surrounded by a wide floral border, 14 x 13 1/2 in., in a molded giltwood frame.

Note: Esther was born in Hopkinton, New Hampshire, in 1811, moving to Bow in about 1820.
