Needlework Sampler "Polly Hamilton," Lebanon, New Hampshire, 1810, worked in silk threads on a linen ground, composed of seven alphanumeric rows above the maker's name, age, date, and location, and pious verse below next to a small pictorial reserve with house, all within a geometric border, 15 x 21 in., in a beaded frame.
Note: Retains an old label on the back possibly indicating ownership by a Mrs. John Ritchie of Bradford, Massachusetts.
