Needlework Sampler "Sally Adams,"

Needlework Sampler "Sally Adams," Henniker, New Hampshire, 1822, worked in silk threads on a linen ground, composed of seven alphanumeric rows above a pious verse, with maker's name, date, age, and birth date and town "HENNIKER" in large capital letters below, flanked by stars, floral border on sides and foliate elements along top edge, 16 3/4 x 16 3/4 in.
